Hello,
I recently upgraded to version 1.2.0 (400F) on a MacBook Air running
10.7.5. Since then, it happens frequently that Quicksilver is unresponsive
for up to 15-20 seconds or so, not doing anything when I invoke it with the
shortcut, and showing up in Force Quit as unresponsive if I check during
that time. If I wait, it will come back and the display will suddenly flash
up multiple times, in response to my having tried multiple times to call it
up during the unresponsive period. It happens so often, the software is
pretty much unusable like this. Is there a known issue that could cause
this? I guess it could be the catalog scan eating up resources--but would
this show up as an unresponsive program in the Force Quit menu? I thought I
had the scan set do do the same depth as before--I have it set to the last
depth before the "infinite" setting. I just looked, and in my custom
settings for the catalog I have both my desktop and my home, which is
perhaps redundant--the desktop would be included in the home directory, so
no need to add it separately, yes? But unlikely this could be causing the
problem described, I think. Thanks for any advice.
