Yep. I just got hal-0.5.9 done on my system the other day. There are some things still to be decided, like how to split up dbus + bindings. I'd like to get all the way built through gnome so I can test out HAL through gnome-volume-manager, but maybe it's better to get it in sooner. What do you think?
