My initial feeling is that I'd like them on separate pages to avoid
cluttering one page. But...

Most of the GNOME packages want dbus-glib in addition to dbus, just
like kdebase wants dbus-qt3 in addition to dbus. So, that might
require changing a bunch of pages.

I agree. I've gotta dust off my BLFS repo over here. I'll try to get
stuff in for dbus and hal this weekend.

I'm not real proud of that situation :) As a stopgap, I think I'll
just try to get versions 1.5.10 into the book so that we stop having
apps with security holes. I know people really want to see firefox-2,
but my plate is full. Getting there, though.
