I can suggest this:
1. ctrl+esc
2. esc
3. You should be on the start button. press alt+enter for the properties.
4. This is a multitab dialogue. If you're not on the taskbar tab, press 
ctrl+tab till you land on it.
5. Be sure that the following itoms are not checked: Group similar taskbar 
buttons
Hide inactive icons
The hotkeys for this options are respectivly - alt+g and alt+h.
6. When you're ready press enter, or go to the ok button and activate it.
Now you're good to go:)).
