I downloaded FireFox also on Friday. So far it has been reasonably positive
simply because it is faster than IE but like yourself I have found some
pages that Jaws will not read. I have to press Insert Escape to refresh the
screen and rectify the problem. I do not know why this is happening as it
did not occur in IE.

I also found that I had to uninstall and re-install Real Alternative for
streaming media to work again. Adobe Flash Player needs to be downloaded
and installed again if you want FireFox to use sites like You Tube. I found
the Plug-in upgrade module would only work properly if I used the Jaws
cursor.

I think alt plus I will get FireFox to tell you if there is any plug-in
missing on a page. You could try this on the page that you are having
problems with.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] firefox

Hi I just recently downloaded firefox so I'm a little new at using it. I
noticed sometimes I can't move around in a web page so I'll have to reload
the page. Also on the xmradio site in the player, I don't see the volume
links like I did with ie. Is there something that has to be set in there?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Kerby
