Hi David, I am still going around and around (getting dizzy!) trying to figure out what kind of backup I should use for all my music and recordings. I tried the trial version of Carbonite and I am not enthusiastic about leaving my computer on for days to backup a lot of GB.
Now, I am thinking about the disk imaging program again. Just one question. How long did it take for you to backup your system on CDs and approximately what was the size of the data that you backed up. Does anyone on the list have any idea what the life expectancy of an external hard drive is? I was told that an internal hard drive usually have a life expectancy of about 4 years. Also, $40 for the imaging software is a lot easier to manage than $50 per year for Carbonite. Your comments will be greatly appreciated.
