Hi Rick, Thanks for your sound advice! I really like the points that you made. I currently have two external hard drives which are Maxtor OneTouch. One is used for my system backup using Microsoft system backup and the other one is used for all my music and recordings using the same backup software.
I tried the trial of Carbonite on-line storage and needless to say, those points that you mentioned does apply. Carbonite does not make any sense to me. So, maybe this is overkill, but I am considering purchasing a third external hard drive (Seagate 500 GB) to use to mirror the backups on the other two external hard drives.
