Hi, Thanks to all that responded, I was really not sure.  I have had mine
since December and I think I unplugged it once, I was just afraid it would
burn up or something.

Hi Ginger,

I don't see why not. I have my drive running almost all the time, and i've 
only had 2 really bad glitches, both requiring a reformat to repair.
