Hi Nimer, I also have a Hitachi 500 GB internal hard drive. I use this one for all my MP3 music and recordings. So far, that one is working just fine.
I had a bad experience with my previous internal hard drive that died on me after 2 years. That one was a Western Digital and also was 500 GB. I use the Hitachi external hard drive which is also 500 GB. to back up anything that I saved on the internal hard drive. So far, that one has been working fine. Both drives are 5 months old.
