Hi Mark, The search box on my site is a custom Google search. Whatever search string you type in the box, will yield Google search results at the top of the list, and then the ones on my site. You will need a Google account to use this search, and then you simply go to:
http://www.google.com/cse/ Once you log-in, you can customize your search, and then it will generate the code for you. So, I was not sure if I should actually install the search box on my sight or not. If I do install the search box, I want to be sure that it gives a large amount of data in response to any search query. I am thinking that rick would be able to help me with sorting out the settings for a search box. I have found that for myself, using the Google labs version for blind people doesn't give me the results I am looking for. So, I am trying to figure out a good balance before I install it on my site at: http://www.christiantraditions.info I would want it to be a full web search, not limited to my sight. That way if people wanted they could use my sight as their home page. I hope this helps. God bless, Mark God Loves you!
