Hello Rick, this laptop has no FN key that one could use n combination with the function keys as do my Inspiron netbook.

This was there before I experienced the password problem I had last week so not sure if somehow this has been removed.

Want to get it back of would appreciate any work-a-round to turn off that annoying touchpad that take me all over a document when I am typing. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rick Justice" <[email protected]>

Hi Steve,
Have you looked in the user's manual?
More than likely, you can toggle this
using the F/N key with one of the function keys.
HTH,
