Well first off congrats on reaching area nine I haven't made it yet.

I can tell you however that the inability to save area nine is intentional,
that is not a bug he did it that way to make it harder.

Good luck, I will get there eventually.

Tom

Subject: audyssey: SOD Area 9.

Hi, list.
I am playing SOD 1.2 on the bring them On level, and I have finally
reached Area 9. Apparently, this Area 9 is quite a bit different than
was 1.0.
Upon reaching Area 9 I was immediately under fire from cyborgs, mutant
humans, blob, birds, ratts, you name it. If it was in the game it
seamed like they were coming at me on mass, and I did manage to slow
them down, but only after a couple of attempts.
My main question is how to gain access to the elivator and locked door
on the level. I can't find any security chips, and feel I may have
missed them on a previous level not knowing there were any that were
needed. Any ideas, help, suggestions?
One other thing is how on earth to live the first few seconds after
reaching the level. It seams no sooner than the teleporter sound stops
you are getting killed before you can even select a weapon.
I don't know if this is a bug or a feature of the game, but I can not
save area 9.
Thanks.
