Many excellent tips you already got here Keith. Might I just add while
you empty out your freezer into coolers or another larger freezer .
take your time and clean efverything out in both the freezer and
refrigerator sides. As Clifford noted. give this unit enough time to
warm up and totally defrost. Only after you are sure that drain is
unclogged should you start that unit back up. Mike I think it was
noted not to block the fans in the freezer. same goes for the other
side.Let me add one more thing as I have a big side by side and the top
becomes a collectors nightmare. always be sure the seals on each door ,
same as the main frame of the main unit are clear of obstruction.Ie:
the leftover weed wacker string or something that might even barely
keep a door from completely closing. I'd also be interested in knowing
if you have a problem getting the water filter replacements. Lee
