Good question... My mom's garage is attached to her residence with a connecting door. the temp differential between the two can be as much as 40 degrees. The walls and roof of her garage area are already insulated much the same as her home. The garage door is not. It is constructed of 16 double broken I'm guessing 18 gage metal panels. these panels transfer cold during the winter and heat during the summer into the garage. Insulating the door helps with both heat and cold convection into her garage and to a lesser extent into her living space

How much did these pre-cut packages cost? I believe the 4 by 8 sheet cost me between 6 and 7 bucks.
