Scott, Occasionally I've been able to fish wires through from opposite directions, with hooks on the end and hook them together and pull one all the way through. But in your application, I think I'd make a hole in the ceiling above the switch and do a patch job later. But if the remote control would work in your application, that sounds like a possibility -- it you can get power up there some other way. Blessings, Tom
