Maybe I'm missing something, but I'd rather just define a property like:
blur.metric.reporter.classes=
where the value can be zero or more comma-delimited class names that must
extend (com.yammer.metrics.reporting.AbstractReporter) or some composed
equivalent. To me, feels much simpler/cleaner than the javascript stuff.
e.g.
blur.metric.reporter.classes=com.yammer.metrics.reporting.JmxReporter,com.yammer.metrics.reporting.GangliaReporter
