Thank you for taking the time. I installed LMS 8.2.1 today and so far so
good. Before the update it happened on a regular basis when starting the
playback or powered on a device in the group. So maybe, as in many cases
before, a re-installation is all you need.
It feels a bit like when my parents friends called me, as I was working
with computers, and asked what the error message in Word meant back in
Windows 98 days when all they could throw was an exception with some
hexadecimal number(s). The answer is still valid: "Re-install and hope
for the best."
