Not really. It is an unfortunate side effect of the reply-to header for the list 
being changed to the sender instead of the list. Most people just hit group 
reply (reply all, whatever) in order to get the list in the to header. So you 
are getting one copy from the list and one from the sender directly.

May I take this oportunity to vote for a return to the old method. I know there 
are some lengthly rants on this subject, but my personal experience is that I 
almost never reply to the sender instead of the list. So for me, the default of 
reply going to the list is the preferable (lazy) option. And it avoids the 
double copy problem, which is a bit annoying (though just a bit).
