I imagine the vi folks will chime in shortly, but emacs certainly
brings a Unix feel to Winders for me. I recomend cperl-mode
with M-x font-lock-mode for syntax highlighting.
There are good ports of vi for win32. I used ELviS for a while.
I'd be surprised if vim wasn't ported already.
The most pico like editor for Winders is, of course, notepad.
Why Visual Studio based their editor on notepad is beyond my
reasoning.
