I've never experienced this problem. When it happens, can you ping an external site by IP address? If so, then it might be a DNS problem. What windows version are you running? I've run Win 95, 98 & 2k behind my Linksys for over a year w/ never any problems... I would recommend upgrading the firmware regardless. They fixed a few bugs, and added some nice features in the recent releases. It is very easy to do, and the last time I upgraded it didn't reset all my current settings (older releases did this).
