As others have said: try upgrading the firmware first. Some
connection bugs were resolved.

I have had this sort of problems in the past, but not (necessarily) on
Windows machines.

The best approach is to power down everything:

  computers
  router
  cable/dsl modem

Leave them powered down about 15 minutes, then power up in this order:

  modem
  router
  computers

Don't know if you're using AT&T Broadband, but they had some DHCP
server problems a few weeks ago which they have finally resolved.
Could be some state left over in your router that reconnects to a bad
lease.

Also, check the status of the lease in your Linksys status page. My
modem was granted a lease of 49,000+ days, which caused some problems
later. The above cleared it up for me.
