I use my BN almost exclusively in braille, especially on the job. However, i do use the speech to read books. or when my braille display is acting up. i am excited about the new audio features available when my mPower arrives and support improvements in that area as upgrades come. it's the best of both worlds when you can use both braille and audio, which is one of the things I love about my braille note. If all the audio features were taken of the BN and were put exclusively on a voice note, then I'd lose out or have to buy another machine. i guess that as upgrades come, there is a mix of features, some of which won't be of interest to everyone. I don't care much about the FM radio, and i am not interested in an upcoming daisy reader, and I'd love, love, love, to be able to play books from audible. However, others really love the radio and want a daisy reader, ... so I think the way we get upgrades with a variety of features that appeal to different people for different reasons is a really good thing.

Although It may, to some of you, seem like sour grapes on my part, I have added concern. The unique and secial thing about this device is that it is a "BRAILLENOTE." There is so much out there, at reasonalbe prices, for those who can hear. PLEASE, if you really vote for all this auio stuff, suggest Humanware incorporate them into the Voicenote and leave the BRAILLENOTE for features utilizing written braille.
