Hi folks, It has been suggested that recording to mp3 or encoding on the fly is not possible, or that conversion from .wav to .mp3 would be better.
Assuming that you accept the limitations that come with mp3 encoding, encoding on the fly isn't a problem at all. I own a tiny Iriver mp3 player which records mp3 files on the fly. It's probably got one tenth or less the power of the BN and it runs on one AA battery. So encoding on the fly isn't a problem. I have heard that this capability may come when DAISY support is implemented. Get out your check books. :-) Rusty -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Stacey Robinson Sent: Saturday, January 28, 2006 2:35 PM To: Braillenote List Subject: Re: [Braillenote] vote now Au, That does make sense. Maybe it's much better to stick with wav.
