Michelle,

Hold down all three of the buttons at once in your Blazer and turn it on. This sets it to its defaults. The Blazer I use to have defaulted at paper width 34. I'd leave it at that setting. Set paper length to twenty five lines a page. You should be able to find that information in the embosser instructions. The idea here is to have the BN control the margins so that should be set to 32 spaces. There is another setting which I think is top and bottom margin. Keep those at zero, the default. If you set all of these things in this way, you should have no problem embossing a document. I can go into my computer and find a post which gives you very detailed instructions since I owned a Blazer at the time I wrote the post. I recently sold it though.

Please write me directly if you have further questions.

Jim Aldrich

Subject: RE: [Braillenote] Keyword Question

<<Hello. I had this kind of problem at school a few years ago. What kind of
embosser is this? >>

Kyle John - We have a Braille Blaizer.

<<I had to make sure that the
embosser was set to have the number of cells per line one more than the
VoiceNote QT I had (because sometimes a space will be put on cell 29). Also,

the embosser may count the number of cells set for the left margin. If so,
make sure that the BrailleNote has the left margin set. If this does not
help, please let me know. Thank you.>>

How do I find out how many cells per line Keyword is set to? How do I set
the left margin? I found a blurb about how to set margins in each Keyword
document, but nothing about how to do a global change to all documents. If
you could spell out for me how to do these changes, I would be very
grateful. I can use the Braillenote pretty well, but I'm not an expert.
I'm afraid I need some stet-by-step instructions!

Thank you!

Michelle
