Hi Rhonda and Others;

I sure agree with you, Rhonda. Why couldn't they make 7.5 optional for
non US people since they will hardly benefit from it. If the UEB is the
only benefit, it will be a part of the next upgrade. Those out there
who would not benefit from this upgrade, I would write to HW and speak
your view. I bet they never even thought of who it would benefit.
Companies are out there to make money. The more letters and calls, the
more likely they will listen. Stand up for your rights and fight.
Good luck!
Terry Powers

Hello, Deon:

You asked for opinions outside the state, of which I am not.
However, I understand your sentiments, and agree with you
totally. I have stated, and will always do so, that every person
should be equal. When you pay a certain amount for a product,
you should expect to receive something.

Many people say, "if you don't want it, don't purchase". This is
hardly a reasonable answer. Everyone who spends a lot of money
for this type of technology deserves to get the very best.

As I said in the beginning, I don't live outside of the United
States, but felt the need to respond to you. I teach a lot of
BrailleNote Technology, and as you know from the other posts I
have written, it hurts me immensely to tell someone they can't
use their equipment for what they need.

Off the soapbox I come. Yes, I am in your corner. I am not
speaking as an embassador who would like to receive payment, but
as someone who cares what you receive.
