With the proper adapter, I think that this would work. I would advise phoning into HumanWare and seeing about obtaining a USB to Serial adapter that connects into the USB port of your PC and the Serial goes to your BrailleNote. With this arrangement, your PC should recognize it as a Serial instead of a USB device, thus allowing you to use your BrailleNote as a braille display.
