Hi Richard,
Just for clarification, does that mean you have seen this
"exception converter ..." on your QT?
Regards,
Steve.

In fact, I was in a vehicle, I transferred a document to the BN
using a
flash drive, and to my great surprise and frustration, I received
that
error thus making the document useless to me at that time.

Really? I must have gotten lucky, then; I guess the bug was off
bothering you and left me alone! Yes, it is always with .doc
files and never any other file type. HW absolutely has to fix
all these Word problems.
Have a great day,
Alex

I hate to tell you this, but I haven't upgraded to build 27, and
I have
encountered the error twice, always involving Microsoft Word
files.

Hi all,
In 7.5.xx until .27, I had no more problems with non-keyword
documents giving that dreaded "exception: converter. Access
violation reading/writing [ram address]". Since build 27,
however, it has happened twice in four days! I thought bugs were
supposed to stay squished, but I guess this little guy pulled a
magic act and is now on the loose again through the BN family
running build 27. Be careful! There seems to be no way of
knowing where it will strike, except the files seem to always be
doc files.
Have a great day,
Alex
