Hi there, If you purchase a network card with a network cable, you can indeed setup an Internet connection using Ethernet. On my PBWiki page, I have listed steps on how to connect to the Internet (perhaps I didn't) with detailed definitions of network terms. Cheers, Joseph

I cannot figure out how to connect to the internet or use email on the BrailleNote. I have looked through the user guide on the machine and am still lost. I am not all that technological with computer language/terminology. On my PC, I have internet service through Charter Communications which is a cable internet service (like the TV), and it is not dial-up. Unfortunately, the router in my house is not wireless. I cannot figure out how I can connect to the internet or email with the BrailleNote. Does anyone know if this is possible with my PC set-up? Or can the BrailleNote only use a dial up connection? I also would like to be able to access the web/email on my BN from school and other places outside of my home. If my home computer only has a wired router, would I need to pay for a second internet service/provider? Or how does the mobile thing work with a cable internet connection? I'm still totally lost, so any help/suggestions would be appreciated and helpful. p.s. I have no problem with the information fields to enter text, I am just lost on what I need to do and how to go about it.
