Morning all, Ben, (hope that's OK, some like their full name.), you have to buy an ethernet card for your BN. I'm not sure what the required cards are now for the MPower, perhaps Rhonda or Joseph will know. Depending on whether your modem from Charter net is also a router, you will find connecters on the back of it. You will need the cable to connect to the router, but you can do this, no trouble.
If your cable modem doesn't have extra slots to connect other cables, then you will need what is called a hub. You plug the hub into the modem, and then the computer and the BN into the hob as well. I'm surprised your modem isn't wireless cuz most modems from cable and DSL companies are. However, these are the things that you will need. If you're going to connect at school, you may or may not need a wireless ethernet card as well. Unfortunately, that's all the info I can give you at the moment.
