This is certainly a workaround, but we should not have to go
through (counting them...) 6 steps just to read a message.
Besides, sometimes the greater-than signs are stripped out of an
email by the bn so the html becomes malformed and this can mess
with the rendering.

exact commands and I don't know which you have--QT or BT--but you
can save
the html message as an html file, name it with an html extension,
and use
KeyWeb to read the message.
