Hi,
>From what I've seen lately, they do respond (although in the "behind the
scenes" way). The recent firmware updates came out once about every two to
three months, which is a slight improvement over a year or two ago.
As for .docx support, HW did say they are working on it. But as it turns
out, the formatting of these files (at least the underlying formatting) is
the biggest factor in some difficulty in implementing it. Well, I expect Hw
to make some announcements by mid summer.
Just a hint for you: BSP 5.5 firmware (yes, the new firmware is 5.5) is in
its final Beta testing stage (in Korean); the feature sets would mean Apex
and that one would be pretty matched... Sorry couldn't resist...
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] apex or braille sense plus

I am inclined to go for the apex but what concerns me is how responsive are
humanware to customer feedback and the fact that they seem rather slow to
implement changes for example the move to doc x files being supported on the

braille note. any thoughts welcome in helping me reach a final decision!

thanks in advance.
Cheers

Paul
