As mentioned earlier, that usually worked for me, but not last Saturday,
absolutely nothing I know would cancel the alarm, not even a reset which
had done it in the past.

I think you can hit the letter C to cancel the alarm, space bar to
postpone the alarm for a specified period, I think it's 5 minutes by
default. That can be done while the unit is off but sounding the alarm.
Best Regards,

Les

You can get the alarm to shut off with the BT by pressing the backspace
and enter keys at the same time, which puts you into a menu that gives
you the option to cancel the alarm or to doze. HTH.

You can get it to shut off? My experience last week leads me to believe
using the alarm may be more of an annoyance than a help.

Hi,

I probably should classify this as a practical use of BrailleNote. I'm
currently commuting each weekend, as I've taken a new job in another
city. I was transporting my alarm clock back and forth the first
weekend, but now with the BN upgrade, no need. Not only do I have a
wake-up alarm set, but it's recurring, so I don't have to set it up each
week. Best Regards,

Les
