Peggy, you should get the accessory pouch as part of the deal when you get
the gps. If you don't get the gps, I guess you have to buy the pouch
separately.
As for using the bn while standing or walking, you can definitely do this
although I really feel more comfortable when I also have the gps attached
in the
accessory pouch as it provides extra stability to the bn underneath (that
is, when you're using it while standing or walking.
The trick is to be sure you have the bn properly seated in the case and
the velcro tight around it. Once you get it in correctly, the bn isn't
going anywhere!
I never take mine out of the case, even when using it here at home.
