I vaguely remember it, but don't remember all the details. Whatever the
decision would be (if any), it seems it would have to be something that an
individual user could toggle on and off, so that whoever didn't have a
problem with the chord commands could leave it as is, but whoever did could
change the option to change the append mode or thumbkeys or
whatever. Isn't it fun to brainstorm? <grin>
