This is a very good time to point out a language difference, because it is
critical.  The common US word for what you went through is a miscarriage,
not an abortion. Losing your child as you did would definately be
considered a tremendous loss, the worst nightmare scenero for any parent.
Indeed, the pro-life view is that it is no less of a loss than if the child
had been 4 months older.
