I see that this issue is very near and dear to your heart.

However, I don't believe that the presence of one problem should in any way
effect the seriousness of another problem.   Yes, child abuse is serious.
 That doesn't, however, change the deaths of 1.4 million American children
each year due to abortion.

I'd like to believe that my heart is big enough to care about all of those
children.

P.S. At least child abuse is already illegal, almost universally frowned
upon, and there are statutory requirements to report child abuse.   Indeed,
abuse and death of children at the fetal stage of development is already
illegal - except, oddly, in cases of deliberate parental consent resulting
in death.
