I'm in no way defending incest, but your use of "victims" and
"survivors" here is introducing a selection effect. As well as the
people who've engaged in incest and had very bad consequences, there
may be a group who've done so and had less bad (or no bad) consequences
(and so who are not "victims" or "survivors"), and this second group is
presumably much less likely to come into contact with psychotherapists
working in the field. Whether this is actually the case, I have no
idea.
