I realized that, but it's still amazing that folks don't try going down the
street a bit to see if there is a less obvious gas station.

The latest forecast is for winds to get up to the '50s.

Two questions,

Did Dan really gain that much weight since I saw him last? :-)

Why won't he go in the house?

 Sugarland's forecast is up to around 60,  so sheltering in place would
seem reasonable to me....as long as the hurricane doesn't go left of it's
predicted path.
