By comparison, the last time I could take a bus to work, it took about 2.5 hours (walk to the nearest bus stop, ride all the way to the terminal downtown, wait for the other bus to arrive, ride it to where I needed to go) versus less than half an hour to drive. (The last time I had a bicycle or was able to ride it to work or for a significant distance anywhere was at the beginning of the 1980s, before I got sick.)
