Clarke is from Arkansas, southern enough. Anyway, there is no way on God's Earth that the Dems can win much in the South. The Confederacy is having its revenge upon the United States of America, right now. Why would they turn away from that revenge just because one Freshman senator is a pretty-boy trial lawyer and a good speaker? Clarke managed the most successful war/intervention in our history and the archetype of how we SHOULD use Pax Americana power in the 21st Century. In Bosnia-Kosovo, not one American died, we proceeded with excruciating care and diplomacy, but fiercely overwhelming force. The results? Alliances STRENGTHENED not undermined. Peoples lives and freedoms saved. An END to the violence. A European continent at peace and under law for the first time in 4,000 years. And an increase in the stature of the USA. There is no level, no basis for comparison, by which our Balkans intervention does not come out better -- or rather opposite -- than the mess in Iraq. Except that both resulted in a fallen dictator going on trial. Well, we'll see about that. No, Kerry had his chance. Kerry-Clarke would have compared 2 war heroes to two draft dodgers and even the south might have noticed. But it won't be. At this rate, we are fated to suffering under the heel of the Confedaracy for another 4 years of excruciating revenge by the kleptomoron elite. _______________________________________________ http://www.mccmedia.com/mailman/listinfo/brin-l
