Because not all teams play events outdoors during the winter and the winter
events are not UKU events the winter is thought of (at least by me) as pre
season and could therefore be likened to 'friendlies' in football or other
sports which have no effect on which league a team plays in next season.

The recent increase in standard across the whole of the UK ultimate scene means
that more and more teams find themselves at the bottom A and top B level and
have little to choose between them. This is great news for the future of the
sport and increased competition within the UK.

This seeding system is based solely on UKU sanctioned events which to me makes
it the most sensible for use at UKU sanctioned events.

Cheers
Jo
