Glad to see that the spirit of open mindedness is still alive and well in the UKU and it's coordinators. Yup I know the rules and they illustrate exactly why this is a just fine time (in fact the only time to be having this discussion) I don't really want to the focus of this discussion on the seedings choice. My point is more that if the tour format is more flexible to allow for a potentially larger set of teams to move between the A&B tours then the seedings matter less. However regarding the timing of the complaint I refer you to rule 4: 4. New teams will be seeded by the discretion of the DoC. Geo-teams may be considered for seeding directly into the A tour, whereas non geo teams will have to start from the B tour. Teams may only be seeded directly into the A tour should there be vacancies due to mergers or folding teams over the close season." So given that LLL2 and RedDog are no more there where two spots available in the A tour for new geo teams. Yet those spots have been strictly filled based on nationals finishes last year rather than the application of rule 4. Are Brighton Ultimate a new geo team? How about No-Lo? How about Discuits? How about Sheffield Steal or Tenacious Devon last year? Given that the application of rule 4 cannot be known until the seedings are published when else should this discussion be held?
