Although fire 1 did not ever have 3 games in a row at the weekend, there is a related point to make regarding the tour 2 final.

I feel that the 35 minutes we had between finishing our semi-final against chevy (the game went to the cap) and the final is too short a gap. Considering that by that point both teams had played 5 games, and that the final of the A-tour finals are supposed to be the pinacle of British ultimate, I think that 35 mins is not adequate preparation time. (This, of course, is also probably true for most of the play-off games.)

To add weight to this, I seem to remember that finals used to take place at least an hour after semis (sometimes as long a gap as a couple of hours or more!). This meant both that so the teams could recover and get ready to put a good show on, and also that more people could watch the final.

What has changed? Why? And are the benefits worth the costs?
