That clears lots of queries. Thanks!
Just one more thing, do we have any priority(in terms of importance
for BRL_CAD) of projects discussed?

Aniket,

That's a bit of a complicated question.  Let me turn that around on you.  What are two or three projects that seem most interesting to you?  There's your answer.

Good projects are the ones that students are interested in most.  If you're genuinely interested in a project, you'll be happier, more productive, more likely to pass GSoC, and more likely to continue working on your project.  Getting students to keep contributing long after GSoC is over is one of the primary goals of the program.

Mentor to mentor, there are going to be huge differences in personal interests.  So we can only talk about generalities.  Areas where work has occurred in the past (e.g., previous year GSoC) is always a good investment of time.  The broad objectives of our community are described on the project ideas page in that "BRL-CAD Priorities" paper at the top.

The list is already a subset of stuff we'd love to see added to BRL-CAD.  Read the project descriptions, ask questions, and find what sounds most interesting to you. ;)

Cheers!
Sean
