No idea, as that is not exactly my favourite beer, so I have not
repeated the first experiments with tasting that stuff.
Anyway, it sounds like a difficult project, as the beer has so little
taste. Any infections, off-flavours, or other problems will stand out
stronger against such background, so you have to be extra careful.
I would not be surprised if T-beer was brewed to something like 6%, and
watered down, that is something the commercial breweries like to do.
Pale pilsner malt, a harmless pilsner yeast, very little hops.
Well-controlled fermentation temperature, I guess.

P.S. I have brewed a few "everyday ales" at around 3%, some of them with
quite good success. But I have always tried to maximize the taste
elements, so that people wouldn't notice how weak the stuff is.
