As you may be aware most anesthesiologists use the ASA (American Society of
Anesthesiologists) Relative Value Guide and ASA Crosswalk reference guides
as their source for coding the
services they provide to our members.  Our health plan has discovered 3 new
ASA homegrown codes not published in the 2002 CPT book - 00326,  00834,
00836.

I am assuming that per HIPAA ASA codes are no longer the accepted standard.
The ASA must get their codes adopted by the AMA as a CPT.  How are other
health plans handling ASA homegrown codes?  Are you rejecting these codes
presently?
