Hello, I personally, as well as a bunch of other people are blind; I"m total, and use a reder to read back the screen to me. He'll probably just have to find syntax highlighting that fits what he can see, or attach beeps to the colors, etc.
Thanks, Tyler Littlefield Web: tysdomain.com email: [email protected] My programs don't have bugs, they're called randomly added features. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jos Timanta Tarigan To: [email protected] Sent: Sunday, April 26, 2009 3:27 AM Subject: [c-prog] <OOT> Part color-blinded want to be programmer Hi, sorry if im in the wrong place but i need to do a little survey. one of my friend just finished high school and going to pick which a program in a university. he's good at math and have interest in computer. the problem is he is color blind (partially). im not sure how 'blind' he is but im quite sure he's a good driver so at least he can notice the traffic light. i've heard that most engineering wont accept color blinded person? does it matter in CS? the only thing that got into my mind is he wont be able to see syntax coloring (which i think he can figure out a way). Anyone would like to give a comment, please feel free. Sorry if this is too OOT :) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
