Vianney, Thanks, your answer is so simple and it did work! I did have to make a small change. On the import last order argument right after the filter I had to also specify "from to" as after the initial import it tries to import all products after the last number completely ignoring my specification. In the Ids or filter last_external_id, The Bastard!
If I get good enough, perhaps I could add a progress bar, and tweak the filter a bit more so it is easier to use for people who know nothing of programming. If the connector is good enough its huge to have a compatible erp solution for magento. Our company is going to use openerp now that I have the connector working so I will be working on developing it after I learn python of course.
