Sanjay, An example of what we would like to accomplish is what Sun is providing with the OpenStorage Software Simulator. This is a bootable OpenSolaris image which includes and invokes the Fishworks environment and is wrapped in a VMware guest appliance. You simply download the VMware guest and invoke it within a VMware environment (like Fusion on the Mac) and up comes OpenSolaris and prompts the user for the network configuration that the simulated OpenStorage device will depend on.
