Hi Sue,

Thanks for looking at this. My answers/comments inline...

The first 2 screens won't allow the user to go back, so next doesn't
make sense. These two screens are also implemented by separate processes
so when you hit ok, the value chosen is set.

The first 2 screens are not part of the installer and are supposed to
look different as a result. As for the welcome panel and subsequent
panels being drawn so low you couldn't see the buttons, I will let
Niall, Matt or Jedy answer that.

Yes, it will be the same log as we use now.

The user will be prompted. Right after the tools install, which you
don't see in this Demo, the window will have a button that asks for
reboot now.

we do that in the current installer now. But, I tend to think that
asking the user 'do you really, really want to quit' is annoying. We are
not allowing the user to quit once the install/upgrade is started. So,
quitting before then isn't really harmful to their system. I guess what
I am saying is that I don't think it is necessary to ask them if they
really want to quit since quitting is non-destructive.

I believe they have. Frank, isn't this what you indicated in a previous
email?

Fair enough.

No, we are doing languages, then locales.

I believe this is the plan. Whatever language the user selects to
install in will be marked as the default on the language support page.

No, I wouldn't think so. Deselect All means All in my mind. But, the
ability for the user to move forward with no language support selected
seems broken to me as well. I would think we would have to install
support for at least one language. Seems like a bug that we don't either
tell the user we are defaulting to English, or when they move back
having defaulted back to English. Maybe this behavior is just not quite
complete for this page?

This is a known bug in this screen.

That seems like a fair suggestion.

Ah... I see what you mean. We have yellow triangles with no text next to
the left had text regarding user accounts, but do have warming text next
to the triangle about the disk partition data. Niall, Frank, what do you
think?

We won't be allowing the addition of languages during and upgrade for
Dwarf. The user would have to manually add these later.

The upgrade panel should definitely say upgrade.

No, for Dwarf the user should not be able to navigate by clicking the
items on the the left. This is on a future feature planned list.
